The work was a part of Modscape, an EU-funded project which is focused on the changing landscape in Europe.
The main focal points were:
• Correlation between historical maps on the scale of the villages, large-scale cartographies, and photographic materials (historical and current);
• Digitization and cataloging of magazine articles (Annales Techniques / Texnika Kronika) and other bibliographic material;
• Elaboration of interpretative cartography at different scales, aimed at highlighting: the key elements of the territorial structure; the stages of transformation of the landscape (the settlement structure and the pre-existing archaeological sites before the reclamation, the changes introduced by the reclamation (highlighting, in particular, the new settlements, as well as the places of reception of the current refugees)
