WALK ALONG THE ART  PATH

The artworks are digitally displayed at various shops across north and south Nicosia, forming an art path that bridges the divided city.

Let’s cross the border, discover more paintings, and connect with both parts of the city and its people.

Bridge Builders

Bridge Builders is a collaborative art project involving migrant artists living in Cyprus and locals. It fosters multi-communal engagement.

The project aims to build empathy and understanding across societal divides through a digital exhibition featuring artworks that reflect the experiences of living away from home in a divided land.

By addressing social issues and personal stories, this exhibition shows how art can make us reflect on our own experiences and resonate universally, acknowledging that migration is a natural part of human history.

VIDEO ART FOR SOCIAL ACTION

By encouraging collaboration between the north and south, Bridge Builders symbolizes collective action and highlights art as a unifying force, connecting people through self-expression, transcending borders, and dissolving differences.

To support this, we are co-creating a video with both migrants and locals from all communities.

People are invited to draw and color together video frames. They will be compiled into a 1-minute video featuring a dancer interpreting the division in Cyprus.

We have already organized a workshop to color some frames and bring the dancer's performance to life. Here is the result so far:

We can’t wait to finish the 800 frames with you. We will organize more workshops soon. If you are interested in participating and being a bridge builder, please contact us at: hello@eisabaddour.com
